FSB Uncovers Extremist Nov 5th "Gunpowder Plot" Cells All Over Russia
Today, FSB has published the footage of the arrest of the members of Artpodgotovka extremist organization. Special forces had to storm several apartments. They confiscated explosives, cold steel, and firearms. Dmitri Petrov reporting on how and why those weapons were planned to be used.
"Go! Go!" The storm of the apartment on the first floor takes just a few seconds. FSB special squad has blocked all the exits. The people inside the apartment haven't had time to understand what's going on. The search of the apartment has disclosed handguns, knives, flasks with various solvents and sulfuric acid, Artpodgotovka symbols, pepper sprays, homemade firecrackers, and 15 bottles of Molotov cocktail.
- "Why do you need this?"

In fact, Federal Security Service has just uncovered a Moscow cell of Artpodgotovka extremist movement, whose members were planning a series of arson attacks at public service buildings and attacks on the police on November 4 and 5.

Moscow central investigation department of the Investigative Committee initiated charges on the instigation of public disturbance, terrorist activity, and violence against authorities. One of the detainees has convinced that they planned a riot act, like Ukrainian revolution.
- "My name is Alexei Lutsenko. First, I met Korn at the "Free People Walkabout", a "New Opposition" action. In early October he posted a video on his "Russian Riot" YouTube channel. In that video, he called on everyone who cares to take part in an unauthorized peaceful protest. The action aims at drawing the attention of authorities to himself. It was planned to be an equivalent of Maidan, the Ukrainian revolution".
This extremist organization is led from abroad by Vyacheslav Maltsev. He fled after he had been filed charges for public appealing to extremist activities. Maltsev chose a complicated way to leave Russia. First, he went to Moldova, then Georgia. Finally, he settled in France.
This time, special service has rooted out Artpodgotovka cells in several regions: Moscow region, Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar, Kazan, Samara, Saratov. Now, the detainees are facing a sentence for attempted telkp[]]zrrorism. Dmitri Petrov, Vesti.
