Ivan Bessonov

Ivan studies at the Lyakhovitskaya Children’s School of Music (St. Petersburg), his teachers are Olga Kurnavina, Eleonora Margulis.

He is a Grand Prix laureate at four annual etude contests of the Musical Lyceum Kikiny Palaty of Committee for Culture of Saint Petersburg (St. Petersburg, 2010-2013).

Ivan has started playing piano at the age of six. He enjoys improvising and composing. In 2015 Ivan made his debut in cinema as a professional composer – he wrote music for the Victor Kosakovsky documentary Varicella. In his spare time Ivan creates and stages drama scenes, reads a lot. He adores his two brothers Danila and Nikita.
