Nikola Bogomilov

Nikola is a student of the National School of Music Lyubomir Pipkov in Sofia, teacher – Alexander Vasilenko.

Laureate of the International Competition for Young Pianists (Vranje, Serbia, 2012, I prize), International Chamber Music Competition (Kavadarci, Macedonia, 2013, I prize in the category Piano duet), International Piano Competition Classic and Modern Times (Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, 2014, I prize), International Piano Competition CRAIOVA – PIANO (Romania, 2015, II prize), Mozart International Piano Competition (Frascati, Italy, 2015, I prize and a special prize of the Nuova Accademia di Musica Foundation).

Nikola interests himself in classical literature. Has mastered a series of piano pieces by Sergei Prokofiev Visions fugitives and learned the poems of the Russian poet Konstsntin Balmont that had inspired Prokofiev to compose the series.
