Pianist, сonductor.
Li Jian began his music studies at the age of six and studied at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He continued his education at the Conservatoire Nationale de Paris, and The Curtis Institute of Music.
He is also honorary professor of the Nanjing University. Li Jian is currently serving as professor and head of the Piano Department at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
He has served on the jury panel of many international piano competitions.
Li Jian performed as soloist and conductor with many top orchestras in China. He performs in the foremost music centers of the United States, Europe, and the Far East. Li Jian’s artistry has been acclaimed by critics and audiences worldwide.
