Matvei studies at the Gnessin State Musical College with Maria Belugina. Laureate and Grand Prix winner of many national and international music competitions. Diploma winner of the XVI International Television Competition for Young Musicians The Nutcracker (2015). Matvei took part in the V Yuri Bashmet Children’s Music Academy (2015), the XI International Moscow Meets Friends Festival (2014) and other festivals. He takes part in international master classes. Since seven, he performs as a soloist with symphony orchestras. He is a scholar of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation and Guarneri Foundation. He enjoys drawing, swimming; playing chess.
