Veronika Dzhioeva

Veronika Dzhioeva (soprano) was the first winner of “The Big Opera” project (the first season was celebrated in 2011). By that moment she had already gained a lot of experience in the opera theatres and concert halls. The jury paid attention to her talent, her beautiful soprano and her southern temperament.

Veronika studied vocal in Vladikavkaz; in 2005 she graduated from the Saint Petersburg Conservatory. Today she is one of the most popular singer not only in Russia, but also abroad, acting in Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Massne,  R.Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Schedrin, Vainberg operas.

She is the soloist of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Guest soloist of the Bolshoy and Mariinsky theatres, Hamburg and Houston Opera, as well as Geneva, Madrid, Palermo, Brussels and Prague opera.
