Saltanat Akhmetova (soprano) was a winner of the Third season of “The Big Opera” in 2014. Saltanat was a foreign participant of the project, coming to Moscow from the capital of Kazakhstan, where she was acting as a soloist of the "Astana Opera" theatre.
Moreover she is a laureate of numerous national and international vocal competitions. Saltanat studied vocal at the Kazakh National Academy of Music. An important stage in her career was internship in Italy, in Accademia d’Arte Lirica in Ozimo.
Saltanat Akhmetova always speaks with great respect and delicacy about her opponents from "The Big Opera" project, about their talent, their ability to get ready at the proper time. She hopes that a similar competition appears in Kazakhstan.
