JOHANNES FISCHER (Germany) is a sought-after instrumentalist, composer and teacher.

He has performed as soloists in the world most prestigious concert halls, collaborated with symphonic orchestras in Germany, Scotland, Austria and Hon Kong. He appears regularly at major festivals around the globe, often in chamber ensembles with other instrumentalists and composers.

As a percussionist, Johannes won several prizes and scholarships, among them the first prize and four additional special prizes at the 56th International ARD Music Competition in Munich. He gives numerous masterclasses around the world. Since 2009, Johannes Fischer is a professor and the head of the percussion department at the Lübeck University of Music.

Johannes Fischer was commissioned as a composer by many festivals in Europe and America, the Louvre Paris, the BBC & the Royal Philharmonic Society and the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation.
