WINDS AND PERCUSSIONS

NIKOLAI POPOV (Russia) is one of the most famous Russian wind instrument musicians and a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre Symphony Orchestra. He is a flutist, saxophonist, orchestrator and composer. Having been educated in Russia and abroad, he leads an active life of a musician and an educator. Nikolai Popov teaches at the A.Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music, performs and gives masterclasses in Russia and the CIS, Europe, America and Asia.  

He takes part in different projects together with bands performing various styles of music. He has recorded several solo and band CDs. His recordings are played by different radio stations, and his video lessons are very popular among the students all over the globe.
