NEBOJSA JOVAN ZIVKOVIC studied composition, music theory and percussion in Mannheim and Stuttgart, Germany. He has a master`s degree.

Zivkovic is professor of percussion at Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, Austria and also at University of Novi Sad, Serbia.

Today virtuoso marimbist and percussionist Zivkovic is also one of the most performed authors of music for percussion in the world. Many of his compositions have become the reference for percussionists worldwide. In addition to symphonic works he also composes pieces for young musicians.

He tours extensively as a soloist and performs frequently with leading philharmonic and symphony orchestras. He released a number of CD`s with his own music.
