NIKITA BORISO-GLEBSKY studied and completed his postgraduate studies at the Moscow State Conservatory and then continued his education under the guidance of Augustin Dumay in Brussels and Ana Chumachenco in Kronberg. He is a laureate of many international competitions, including the Joseph Joachim Competition in Hanover (2006, 1st prize), David Oistrakh Competition in Moscow (2007, 1st prize), the XIII Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow (2007, 2nd prize and five special prizes), Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels (2009, 5th prize). In 2013, the talented musician won the Monte Carlo Violin Masters Grand Prix in Monaco. Nikita Boriso-Glebsky is a regular participant of such famous music forums as the festivals in Salzburg, Rheingau, Dubrovnik, the Sviatoslav Richter’s December Evenings in Moscow, the Beethoven Festival in Bonn, the Stars of the White Nights and the Arts Square festivals in St Petersburg, the Violino Magico festival in Italy, Denis Matsuev's Crescendo festival, Boris Andrianov's Vivacello and many other festivals. He sees his honorary mission in promoting the music of contemporary authors and composers of the 20th–21st centuries. He had the chance to be the first performer of a number of compositions by Rodion Shchedrin, Alexander Tchaikovsky and Kuzma Bodrov. In 2018 Nikita Boriso-Glebsky was granted Honored Artist of Russia.
