Ex-Israeli SpecOps Chief: Only Ferocity NOW From Russian Side Will Stop US Aggression

- I mean, we all expected a possible conflict with the US, but why did Israel enter this heated debate?

Yakov Kedmi, an Israeli diplomat: "A former Air Force commander, Amir Rashid, who had recently retired, said that Israel executed over 100 such airstrikes last year against Iranian warehouses filled with weapons that were intended for Hezbollah. Basically, this is a regular, routine occurrence. As soon as our intel detected that these weapons had been delivered... Maybe the Iranians hoped that nobody would react due to the circumstances, but we reacted. We're very concerned about the missiles Iran is supplying to Hezbollah, accurate missiles. These missiles will be used against Israel, against the Israeli Navy".

- How would you describe relations between Syria and Israel right now?

- It's the same: in a state of war".

- I want our viewers to understand it.

- There's a truce.

- We've been in a state of war since 1973. It hasn't changed. We have a truce and a ceasefire. That's all. There hasn't been any conflict.

I'd like to note that if anyone from the intelligence community said that Israeli planes were sent to test Syrian air defenses, then I feel sorry for those they work for because the US isn't interested in Syria's air defenses, neither are we, neither is anyone. Are the Americans interested in it for an attack? They're interested in the Russian system. Russian experts saw those planes when they took off from our base. They were watching them the whole time. Each plane has its unique electronic fingerprint; they knew which plane was which. They may not have known the pilots, but they knew the planes. They knew where the Israeli planes were going and how.

That's why the entire Russian air defense system that is located there wasn't placed on alert. Radar stations were tracking them, but they didn't even recognize them as threats. Usually, they turn off their transponders to avoid detection, but here, they were working like it's a routine flight. Americans aren't anxious about this. Americans are most concerned about the Russian planes in Syria, and about the submarines that are not too far from these destroyers that will strike. All because the Russian Chief of the General Staff has warned the Americans concretely. If he said, 'We'll shoot down the missiles,' that would've been one thing. But, he said, 'We'll sink the destroyers that initiate the strike.' And the Americans took it seriously. All American servicemembers have medals everywhere; they're almost like the North Koreans. Have they ever fought a real army? Who did they fight? The Afghans? The Iraqi Army?"

-There was mass desertion.

-It's not an army. They know they're great soldiers, especially the Navy. They know the difference between fighting a semi-guerilla unit and fighting so-called 'slave armies.' Or the difference between the Afghan and the Russian Army. This is why they're so serious about Russia's possible reaction. As any US President, Trump is a cautious man, but only in his actions. He says whatever he wants, he's a politician. Like any other politician, he will never go for an operation that won't go well for him.

The US military never starts an operation unless it's 100% or 200% sure of its success. So, Trump takes this into consideration as he's briefed by the US admirals. What would happen if the two destroyers that fired the missiles got sunk within 5 minutes? What's next? Would that be a win for him? The chances of this happening are very high because it was said by the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Army. He doesn't speak up often, but when he does, it's blunt and to the point. It gets through to them. Thus, the only thing that can stop any US actions is the threat of a Russian military response. They will never go for it.
